The Regional Food Bank is a member of America's Second Harvest, The Nation's Food Bank Network. Second Harvest sets standards and acquires food donations from national companies for its 200+ member food banks located throughout the country.

Through its relationship with Second Harvest, the Food Bank is able to bring millions of pounds of much needed food into the community every year. Also, by working in partnership with other Second Harvest food banks throughout the country, the Food Bank is able to play a role in the national response to hunger.

The Food Bank is also a member of the Food Bank Association of New York State. The Association works to end hunger by assisting the food bank network in obtaining more food and funds, fostering public awareness of the food banks' mission, and creating partnerships to help alleviate hunger in New York State.
